Our Mission Statement
'Treat others exactly as you would like to be treated yourself' (Luke 6:31)
Our Mission statement underpins everything we do at Great Gaddesden School.
Our Christian values support us all to live our Mission statement.
Our school values
Great Gaddesden is a small Church of England Primary School, with a distinctive Christian ethos.
Each month, we focus on a different value that reflects the liturgical life of the church. Please see the 'Our Church' page for further details of these values.
In our Collective Worship, we celebrate children who have been nominated by their peers for being good examples of living our Mission statement, using our values to guide.
About our school
Great Gaddesden is a happy, vibrant village school with close connections with our church; St John, the Baptist Church. Our school community is a combination of dedicated staff, enthusiastic and well behaved children, supportive parents and Governors, who challenge the school to be its absolute best.
Great Gaddesden C of E School offers a caring and inclusive environment with a ‘family feel’. We offer a broad and engaging curriculum, supporting the development of the whole child, with a focus on positive wellbeing.
We promote a love of learning within a safe environment, where every child is valued. We support all our children to become confident, caring members of society, who use the Mission statement to be the best person they can.
'From the moment you enter the school the welcome, warmth, energy and a sense of pride and care is palpable'.
