Please note that due to small class sizes, our results may vary year-on-year and may not always be published on our school website.

Our small cohort sizes can mean that some years our data is not always displayed on the DfE website. If this is the case, you will see ‘SUPP’ to identify that information has been suppressed because the pupil numbers are below the number for publication.

If you have any queries regarding the publication of SATs results please contact the Headteacher.

Promoting British Values

The DfE expects all schools to reinforced the need to 'create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.'

This is reflected in the school mission statement:

'Treat others exactly as you would like them to treat you' , (Luke 6:31)

These are values that have a central place in our school and is reflected in our curriculum. Our PSHE curriculum covers topics such as 'Confidence and Responsibility' and 'Citizenship'.

Through our school values, we provide a foundation to the way in which we behave to each other.

Every week, the children nominate one of their peers for modelling our school values, in all aspects of school life. These nominations are currently recognised as part of the display on the area of focus in each class room.

However, this is only a small part of what happens at our school.

  • The children learn and experience democracy in their school life - e.g. through having their voice heard, School Council, discussions with visitors to our school and voting for what happens in their school.
  • We learn about the importance of the agreements within our classes, the school and the wider community. This is supported by the application of a fair behaviour policy and opportunities for discussion in school life.
  • Children at our school are encouraged to make choices, knowing that they are in a safe and supportive environment. In this way, our pupils develop their understanding of individual liberty.  They learn about rights and personal freedoms and the responsibilities that come with choice.
  • Our Behaviour Policy is based on our Christian values and reflects the expectations of all  members of our school community demonstrating respect for each other and the world around us.
  • Our PSHE and RE curriculum enhances pupils' understanding of their place in a culturally diverse society. Pupils have the opportunity to have discussions and debates, experience visits and welcome visitors to our school.
